Going Down To Death Valley is the debut release from another German four-piece outfit, that will be forever linked with the early Psychobilly scene. The RAYMEN created their own wild and furious Rock'n'Roll mayhem with predominant, distorted guitar sounds, gloomy vocals and a rather aggressive atmosphere on this thirteen-track album, which was recorded in the summer of 1985 and distributed by Rebel Records on 12´´ vinyl. Tho obviously heavily influenced by the Cramps and all the well-known bands emerging from the mid-80s English Garage / Trash scene, the platter distinguish from that kinda outfits with focusing mostly on horror and b-movie themes and all but one song being originals. Highlights are Lonely Train, Going Down To Death Valley, I'm A Hillbilly Werewolf, It Came From Mars and Paralyzed.
